Gigi Piscitelli is a multi-disciplinary award winning Music Producer, Composer, Sound Designer, Recording, Mixing & Mastering Engineer, Artist and Technologist.

He trained under renowned engineers Alan Moulder and Flood at Assault and Battery Studios, working alongside them on album projects for the likes of GOLDFRAPP, THE CHARLATANS, THE KILLERS ft. LOU REED and PUSCIFER.

Often thinking outside the box, he has worked as an engineer and producer across diverse musical genres with a wide range of artists including THE BLOODY BEETROOTS, JOHN MEDESKI, ADAM GREEN, BINKI SHAPIRO and has scored music for film, TV and commercial advertising organisations such as SKY TV, EXPO, NEXT MODELLING AGENCY and more.

Gigi's approach to music is based not only on his technical knowledge but is also firmly rooted in his skills as a touring musician and experienced live performer. He understands how musicians work and feel - whether working with an orchestra, a band or a solo artist he prides himself on always drawing out the client’s best performance.

This year Gigi has been in the studio with IBIBIO SOUND MACHINE to work on their new album and he is producing some of the most interesting and exciting acts at THE RATTLE, a members-only collective of artists dedicated to the ambitious aim of creating a new London cultural renaissance. Some of the members are just starting out, while others have won Grammys and have been making cultural waves for a generation or more.

After teaching for more than a decade Audio Engineering at SAE INSTITUTE he is now teaching in the MA Media Management, MA Arts Management and MSc Creative Technologies programs at MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY LONDON, while in his spare time he is developing a cutting edge recording technique for Interactive Spatial Audio.
